Eastern and Southern Africa. Digital business training: a GAME-changer for young agripreneurs
The Global Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (GAME) project aims to understand what combination of interventions works to ensure youth-led business success in the agriculture sector. Scaling out the approach of business training combined with mentorship and financing, this phase has attracted 1,200 applicants – up from 60 in the first phase – and has worked directly with 492 youths operating a wide range of agribusinesses.

Virtual reality has expanded into a new field: Job training
More and more employers are using VR to train their workers, from store clerks to doctors to jet pilots. While the technology is still in the early stages, the platform has drawn praise for being able to provide trainees with something close to real-world experience, simply by putting on a headset.

Exploring the Theoretical Gap on Knowledge Work of Knowledge and Skilled Workers in TVET Practices: A Literature Review
The findings may provide insights into the understanding of the theoretical gap and the role of knowledge work for skilled workers and knowledge workers. The findings imply that the role of the two groups of workers could not be described interchangeably within a similar working-class. These findings could be used to create clear distinction in the definition and descriptions of work practices of knowledge and skilled workers within the TVET sectors.

Building Future-Ready Vocational Education and Training Systems
This report zooms in on four key dimensions of future-ready VET systems: i) responsiveness to changing skill needs; ii) the flexibility to make VET work for all; iii) the ability to support transitions into a changing labour market and further learning; iv) the potential of digital technology to innovate VET design and delivery. For each of these dimensions, the report presents a set of key questions that policymakers and other VET stakeholders should consider when re-engineering VET to make it more future-ready, as well as insights from data and international examples of policies and practices.

Teaching in a Digital Age: Third Edition: Guidelines for designing teaching and learning
The book examines the underlying principles that guide effective teaching in an age when all of us, and in particular the students we are teaching, are using technology. A framework for making decisions about your teaching is provided, while understanding that every subject is different, and every instructor has something unique and special to bring to their teaching. The book enables teachers and instructors to help students develop the knowledge and skills they will need in a digital age: not so much the IT skills, but the thinking and attitudes to learning that will bring them success.
