Investigation on the feasibility of using the US Occupational Information Network (O*NET) to link job–worker characteristics, such as skill importance and level ratings, to Canadian jobs. With its strong theoretical and empirical foundations and the similarity between the Canadian and US economic systems, O*NET is a credible source of occupational data for the Canadian labour market.
